Ford Nucleon
The Ford Nucleon was a concept car that was unveiled in 1958 by the Ford Motor Company. The car should not be run on petrol or diesel, but with nuclear fuel. For a small, suspended between the rear wheels nuclear reactor was provided. A filling should for 5,000 miles ( about 8,000 miles) range, before they should be replaced at a gas station type. Ford built from the vehicle just a scale model 1:2,66, it was never produced. There is a whole series of similar concepts from the 1950s to the beginning of the nuclear age.
The vehicle served as a model for the automobiles in the computer game series Fallout.
