Frances Boothby

Frances Boothby ( bl. 1669-1670 ) was an English writer.

Life

Boothby is considered the first author, from which came a play in London on stage. The theater troupe Lord Chamberlain's Men performed their song " Marcelia " 1669 at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane. The play pleased the audience and the following year it was published.
