Franciscan Church, Vienna

The Roman Catholic Franciscan Church is located at the Franciscan Square on the side of Weihburggasse in the 1st district of Vienna Inner City. She is assigned to the Cathedral and Metropolitan parish of St. Stephen and St.. Ordained Jerome. In it there is the oldest playable organ in Vienna, the Wöckherl organ.

History

Had the Franciscan Order from 1451 with St. Theobald whether the Laimgrube in the district Mariahilf his first monastery in Vienna, which was destroyed in 1529.

Equipment

Grace Statue
