Franco Maria Malfatti

Franco Maria Malfatti ( born June 13, 1927 in Rome, † December 10, 1991 ) was an Italian politician. The Christian Democrat was from 1970 to 1972 the 3rd Commission of the European Community (see Commission Malfatti ).

After that, he served as Minister of Finance ( 1978-79 ), public education, industry, State Jobs, and post and telecommunications and foreign affairs ( 1979-80 ) the Italian Government. In the 1980s, he was chairman of the Italian delegation in the European Parliament. His family donated his extensive library of the University of Perugia.
