Frank Enders

Frank Enders (* 1860 in Milwaukee, † 1921) was an American painter and etcher.

Life

Enders, son of a saloon owner in the German community of Milwaukee, where she learned to Henry Vianden, for whom he worked as a sign painter. From 1879 to 1884 he studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Alois Gabl and William of Lindenschmit and dealt with historical painting, genre and landscape painting. Back in Milwaukee, he opened a studio in the 55 Oneida Street. Later, he became director of the art gallery in Milwaukeer exhibition building.
