Fred W. Parks

Fred W. Parks ( born September 1, 1871 in Geneseo, Livingston County, New York, † 1941) was an American politician. Between 1905 and 1907 he was Deputy Governor of the State of Colorado.

Career

About the youth and education of Fred Parks nothing is handed down. Since 1893 he has been resident in Colorado's capital, Denver. After studying law at the University of Denver and Colorado State University and his 1895 was admitted as a lawyer, he began to work in this profession. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Republican Party launched a political career. In 1897 and 1904 he was elected to the Senate from Colorado.

Between 1905 and 1907 he served as Deputy Governor Deputy Governor Jesse Fuller McDonald. Both men were only in March 1905 and did not come as normal practice in January after a successful election challenge in their posts. As lieutenant governor was also Chairman of the State Senate parks. In June 1924 he was a delegate to the Republican National Convention in part in Cleveland, was nominated to the President Calvin Coolidge for re-election. He died in 1941.
