Frederick William II, Prince of Nassau-Siegen

Frederick William II of Nassau- Siegen, ( born November 11, 1706 Siegen, † November 11, 1734 ibid ) was the last Prince of Nassau-Siegen from the reformed line. He was the eldest son of Friedrich Wilhelm I. Adolf of Nassau- Siegen (1680-1722) and his wife Juliane of Hesse- Homburg ( 1681-1707 ).

When his father died, he was just 16 years old and could not out of the crisis the country. After his death, Emperor Karl VI. the Prince of Orange and Prince William IV of Nassau -Diez the government.

Friedrich Wilhelm had since September 23, 1728 married to Sophie Polyxena Concórdia of Sayn-Wittgenstein- Hohenstein ( * May 28, 1709 in Berlin, † December 15, 1781 Siegen), daughter of Count August David Sayn-Wittgenstein -Hohenstein.
