Fredesdorf
Fredesdorf is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein.
Geography and transport
Frede village is about 8 km southwest of Bad Segeberg in the Geest. To the north runs the federal highway 206 from Bad Segeberg to Bad Bramstedt, southeast of the highway 432 of Bad Segeberg to Norderstedt.
The village lies in a heath and moorland, in the originally outweighed the sheep.
History
The village was founded around 1200.
Policy
Of the nine seats in the municipal council has the voter community WV since the municipal election 2008, four seats, the voter community AKPV has three seats and voters Community UWF two.

Economy

Personalities
The expressionist painter Christian Rohlfs ( 1849-1938 ) spent part of his childhood in Fredesdorf where the doctor from a tree recognized his talent for painting after a fall Rohlfs.
