Fredrik Stenman ( born June 2, 1983 in Munktorp, Sweden) is a Swedish football player.

Association

The trained defender Fredrik Stenman played before his move exclusively in Sweden. First, at Munktorps BK and Västerås SK, the next stages of his professional career were IF Elfsborg and Djurgårdens IF. On 1 January 2006, he joined Bayer 04 Leverkusen and signed a contract until 2009. Upon completion of the Bundesliga Season 2006/2007 Stenman moved against a transfer fee of 800,000 euros for Dutch club FC Groningen. His contract ran until the end of the season 2010/11. He then moved into the first Belgian Division for FC Bruges.

National

Stenman 's national team of Sweden. He made his debut on 25 May 2006 against Finland. He belonged to the Swedish squad for the 2006 World Cup, but did not play. After he had not been nominated five years, he celebrated his international comeback in the spring of 2011. In the 5:6 defeat on penalties to Ukraine under a Invitational Tournament in Cyprus, he returned under coach Erik Hamrén back for a game in the country selection.
