The wine-growing village located in the front Palatinate.
History
First time home Friedel was first mentioned on 24 June 770.

- On the last Saturday of the month ( except December ), the bakery and the historic smithy are open.
- On the third Sunday in August, the Friedelsheimer Kerwe wine, a wine festival celebrated.
- On the second Advent there will be a Christmas market at the Protestant church.

The Federal Highway 650 to Ludwigshafen includes Friedel at home to the national road network. Direction Bad Durkheim leads west of Friedel Home State Road 271, north of State Road 37
By Rhein- Haardt Bahn (Mannheim - Bad Durkheim ), a narrow gauge railway, the place is also connected to the railway network.
