Friedrich Heusler

Friedrich Heusler ( born 1 February 1866 in Dillenburg, † 1947 ) was a German mining engineer and chemist. Born as the son of Conrad Heusler, then owner of Isabelle Heusler in Dillenburg, he discovered named after him Heusler alloys are ferromagnetic, although the alloying elements contained therein do not have this property.
