Gajary
Gajary ( until 1927 slovak " Gajare "; Gayring German, Hungarian Gajar - Gajar until 1895 ) is a municipality in western Slovakia.
The municipality is located in the western Slovakian countryside Zahorie ( part of the Vienna Basin ) on a channel ( Zohorský kanál ). West of the village is situated the nature reserve Zahorie with the border river March, towards the Austrian market town Dürnkrut. The city Malacky is 7 km away.
The village was mentioned in documents in 1373.
