Garmendia

Garmendia is the name of an old, originally Hidalgo noble family from the Basque country in Spain. The family, whose branches consist in part to this day, is part of the baskenländischen nobility.

The Garmendia originate from the North Castilian, especially from Azpeitia and Tolosa in the Basque Country. Some members of the family were at the beginning of the 17th century in Argentina and Chile to power and wealth.
