Gary Blore

Gary Blore is a rear admiral of the United States Coast Guard.

He graduated in 1975 from the Coast Guard Academy and was from 1977 to 1982 helicopter squadron leader in the Coast Guard Air Station Brooklyn (New York). Served between 2002 and 2004 Blore in the Office of Budget and Programs. From 2004 to the summer of 2006, he was Senior Director for Border and Transportation Security at the Homeland Security Council. Vo 2006-2009 he was head of agency (Program Executive Officer - PEO) of the Integrated Deepwater System Program. From 2009 to 2011 he was the Commander of the Thirteenth Coast Guard District. Blore reached on 14 July 2011 after 36 years of service, the retirement age.

Rear Admiral Blore was honored with the award four times, among others, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal with two, twice with the Coast Guard Commendation Medal and once with the Transportation 9-11 Medal.

Blore is married and has two daughters.
