Gedser Odde

Gedser Odde is a cliff at the southern tip of the island of Falster in Denmark. It lies at the southern end of a peninsula and is the southernmost point of Denmark and Scandinavia geographically. The nearby town Gedser is a regular ferry to Rostock about 42 km away.

The location is a destination for tourists swimming (sandy beach between Gedser and Gedser Odde ), nature lovers ( rich birdlife with bird sanctuary Bøtø Nor) anglers and rock collector ( locality of fossilized marine fossils and amber ).
