Genki Omae (Japanese大 前 元 纪, Genki Omae; born December 10, 1989 in Yokohama ) is a Japanese football player.

Career

The winger for the right attacking side scored for his club Shimizu S-Pulse in 34 games 13 goals in the J-League season of 2012. With the club he also reached the final of the League Cup in 2012 after Omae the semi-final 3-0 against FC Tokyo scored a hat-trick. The final was lost 1:2 against Kashima Antlers, Omae scored the temporary equalizer at 1-1.

On 6 December 2012, the Bundesliga side Fortuna Dusseldorf Omae committed. He signed a dated before 30 June 2015 contract. January 20, 2013 he made his debut in the Bundesliga when he came off the bench in the 2:3 defeat against FC Augsburg for Andreas Lambertz. In August 2013 he was loaned to his former club Shimizu S-Pulse; the loan agreement dated 31 May 2014.
