Geoffrey Kondogbia (born 15 February 1993 Nemours ) is a French football player of Central African descent.
Career
Clubs
In his youth Kondogbia played for Nandy long before he came to the professional side of RC Lens on Sénart - Moissy in 2004. There, he initially went through the youth teams. In August 2010, he ran for the first time on the second team Lens, made his professional debut was then on 21 November 2010 in the Ligue 1 At the time he was 17 years old. 2010/11 he made a total of three games for his team, the descent into second French league at the end of the season. After he was mostly just a substitute at the start of the season, he won over the course of the year a place in the starting eleven of the club and attended in his debut season in Spain 37 Official matches.
On August 30, 2013 Kondogbia moved back to Ligue 1 for AS Monaco, where he signed a five-year contract until 30 June 2018. The transfer fee was reportedly 20 million euros. On September 15, he came in a league match against FC Lorient at his first competitive game use for Monaco.
National
Kondogbia went through so far from the U-16 national team at every youth of France. The most common - each 12 times - he ran for the U -18 and U-19. In 2012, he was in the French Aufbebot at the U- 19 Championship. In the summer of 2013 he was with the U-20 national team at the World Championships in Turkey, the team was finally able to win the title. On 14 August 2013, at the age of only 20 years for A-National player when he stood against Belgium on the court. Shortly afterwards, he was first nominated for the U-21 national team.
Play
Kondogbia is used primarily as a defensive midfielder, but can also play at left-back. From the transfermarkt.de page is said to shine "with a superior level of overview, precision passing game and strong tackling ." His weaknesses, however, in the subject position game.
