Georg Wolfgang Franz Panzer

Georg Wolfgang Franz Panzer ( born May 31, 1755 in Etzelwang, † June 28, 1829 in Hersbruck ) was a German physician, botanist and entomologist. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Panz. ".

Life

Georg Wolfgang Franz Panzer is the son of German bibliographers Georg Wolfgang Panzer. He practiced as a doctor in Hersbruck and Nuremberg. He was also a botanist and had a very rich herbarium.

1786 tanks was inducted into the Academy of Sciences in Erfurt and profit in 1789, the Leopoldina.
