Ghana Town is a village in the West African nation of Gambia.

According to a calculation for 2013 there live about 1660 inhabitants, the result of the last published census in 1993 amounted to 452

Geography

The place that lives mainly from fishing, is located in the West Coast Region District Kombo North located on the Atlantic coast and about four kilometers north of Tanji and six kilometers west from Brufut. As the name of the village suggests, it was founded by emigrants from Ghana. The inhabitants live from fishing, in the village are often seen wooden frames on which the fish are dried. The dried fish is exported mostly to Ghana.
