Ghulat

Ghulāt (Arabic غلاة, DMG ġulāh, exuberant, extremist ') is that of Ghulūw (Arabic غلو, DMG ġulūw, exaggeration, extremism ') derived adjective. The term is used by Muslims to describe groups of majority Shiite Muslim minority groups that (especially Ali ) exaggerate from the perspective of the Sunnis the status of some saint or family members of the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad. These groups would be in the deification of persons (especially the Imams ) go too far, to connect up to the forbidden in Islam point, it with God ( Allah).
