Giacomo Conti (bobsleigh)

Giacomo Conti ( * June 24, 1918; † July 8, 1992 ) was an Italian bobsledder.

Conti joined during the Second World War, the Aeronautica Militare, Italian Air Force, and rose to the rank of Major. Initially he operated athletics, he turned to bobsledding to, but trained and drove almost exclusively on the track in Cortina d' Ampezzo. He used his home advantage, where she won at the Olympic Winter Games in 1956, together with Lamberto Dalla Costa gold medal in the two-man bob.
