Gianfranco Barra
Gianfranco Barra ( born April 5, 1940 in Rome ) is an Italian actor.
Life
Barra visited in 1960 the Accademia Silvio D' Amico, and pursued after the completion of a stage career. Since 1968 he has appeared in numerous films, both scoundrels, crooks and mafia bosses and police officers, agents, priests or dealer and caretaker. The German-speaking public, he is best known as the curious and camera-toting manservant in Billy Wilder's Avanti, Avanti with Jack Lemmon and when the crooks " Torcillio " in the movie Banana Joe with Bud Spencer.
His first film was 1968 Luigi Il medico della mutua Zampas; Barra soon established himself as a character actor mainly comic roles. He often worked in the 1970s with director Steno together.
