Gilbert Brulé

Gilbert Brulé ( born January 1, 1987 in Edmonton, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who was most recently with the ZSC Lions of the Swiss National League A under contract.

Career

Gilbert Brulé began his career as a hockey player with the Quesnel Millionaires for which he played in the 2002/03 season in the British Columbia Hockey League. Then the attacker stood for three years at the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League contract. During this time he was in the first round as a whole sixth player selected during the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 by the Columbus Blue Jackets. During his last season in Vancouver, Brulé made ​​his debut in the National Hockey League for Columbus, however, came in the 2005/06 season only seven appearances in the NHL due to several serious injuries.

On 1 July 2008 Brulé was issued in exchange for Raffi Torres to the Edmonton Oilers.
