Gimnà stic de Tarragona
The Spanish sports club Club Gimnàstic de Tarragona, also known in short form Nàstic is located in the Catalan city of Tarragona. The football department is currently playing in the third Spanish league, the Segunda División B.
History
Nàstic was founded as a gymnastics club in 1886 in Tarragona. The football field was added in 1914. After winning the championship in the third division in 1945, the club sent on to complete the walkthrough in the first division. As a climber, the club reached a respectable third place, the person entitled to Relegation Round. Opponent was Espanyol Barcelona. The decision should fall in only one game, which was held in Gijón. A famous date is in the club's history today January 11, 1948, when the team from Tarragona could feriern a 3-1 victory in just inaugurated Santiago Bernabeu Stadium against Real Madrid. In the season 1948/49, Nàstic was ninth. It must be said, however, that Tarragona was long in fifth (Matchday 10 to 21 ) and only finished ninth, because the last six games all lost.

The next 50 years commuted the traditional association between second and third league. The current stadium of the club, Nou Estadi de Tarragona, was opened on 2 February 1972.
