Gintaras BalÄiÅ«nas
Gintaras Balčiūnas (born 2 April 1964) is a Lithuanian business lawyer, lawyer and former Minister of Justice of Lithuania.
Biography
1989 graduated from Gintaras Balčiūnas the diploma studies at the Faculty of Law, Vilnius University and then worked in the prosecutor's office. 1990-1993 he worked as a legal advisor to the City Council Panevėžys and was chairman privatization Commission Panevėžys (1992-1993), and later he worked as a lawyer, then worked as a lawyer in a law firm. From 1998 to 1999 he was Deputy Minister of Justice of Lithuania. On 1 June 1999 Gintaras Balčiūnas was appointed Minister of Justice. He was in the 9th and 10th government ( until late October 2000) active.
