History and construction

Following the successful development of the piston engine Gippsland GA8 the design was stretched, so now find ten people. Furthermore, a turbo-prop engine is installed, whereby the load could be increased. The GA10 is a strutted high-wing monoplane with retractable tricycle landing gear and not conventional tail. The GA10 GA8 uses many parts of the, whereby the production cost can be reduced. Similar to GA8 a STOL kit to be developed for the GA10. The 20-minute maiden flight took place on 1 May 2012. The airworthiness certification to FAR -23 standard is to take place in mid-2013.
