Glimåkra

Glimåkra is a place ( tätort ) in the province of Skåne County and the historical province Scania. The village in the municipality of Ostra Göinge arose along the railway line Kristianstad Immeln, which was extended in 1886 by Glimåkra. Today, the railway is no longer important for the place where the passenger and freight transport in 1969 were set in 1978.

Until 1974 the city formed its own community before they went up in the church today Östra Göinge. Prior to the formation of Skåne län Glimåkra belonged to the former Kristianstad County.
