Global Career Development Facilitator

Global Career Development Facilitator ( GCDF ) is an international certificate in the United States by the Center for Credentialing and Education (CCE ), a subsidiary organization of the National Board for Certified Counselors ( NBCC ) for professional or para- professional working so called Job Facilitators ( helper in the job search) and career consultants (work and career counselors, academic and career counselors, guidance counselors, employment agencies, integration, coaches, etc.) will be given. History

The curriculum for the training of GCDF (originally: Career Development Facilitator - CDF ) was developed in 1994/95 due to a needs analysis of the later dissolved National Occupational Information Coordinating Committee ( NOICC ) by the Oakland University in Rochester (Michigan). The aim was to meet the given the turmoil in global labor markets foreseeable rising demand for advice and at the same time to encourage consistent quality standards. The rights to the curriculum in 2000 went to the National Career Development Association ( NCDA ) on. NBCC cooperates internationally in many countries with commercial and nichtkommerziallen local partners.
