Gooseberry-Hill-Nationalpark

The 33 ha small Gooseberry Hill National Park (English Gooseberry Hill National Park ) is a national park in Western Australia, Australia. It is located in Gooseberry Hill, a suburb of Perth. The park is located about 16 km east of Perth and 5 kilometers north of Kalamunda at the southern beginning of the valley of the Helena River.

Through the park held a disused railway line, the Kalamunda Zig Zag, a secondary line of the Upper Darling Range Railway. She was in operation until its closure in 1949. Today, the Zig Zag Scenic route follows the original route of the railway through the park.

In Gooseberry Hill National Park of Statham 's Quarry, a quarry, in the diabase was recovered in the first quarter of the 19th century and serves as a historical example of quarrying is. Its cliffs are now used as climbing.
