Goppenstein

Goppenstein is a hamlet of the municipality in the Valais Ferden and is located at the junction of the Lonzaschlucht Loetschental.

It is known for its Goppenstein station on the Lötschberg line and the loading facility for the car train through the Lötschberg tunnel from Wallis to Kandersteg in the Bernese Oberland.

From Goppenstein Station Postbus lines lead to Blatten in Loetschental, Gampel and dock.
