Grand Turk Island
Grand Turk is the largest island in the Turks Islands, which form the British overseas territory of the Turks and Caicos Islands, together with the some 30 km north-west Caicos Islands.
On Grand Turk Cockburn Town is the capital of the Turks and Caicos Islands. Grand Turk is regarded as their administrative, historical, cultural and financial center, and has about 7,800 inhabitants, their second largest population number.
