Greg Draper
Gregory Alexander " Greg" Draper ( born August 13, 1989 in Taunton, England) is a New Zealand soccer player.
Career
Born in England Taunton Draper moved at the age of 12 years with his family to New Zealand. Between 2005 and 2007 he played for Canterbury United in the New Zealand Football Championship. End of July 2007, he was commissioned as one of three prescribed sub -20 -year-old from the newly formed A- League club Wellington Phoenix under contract. After he came to two division operations in the first season, he remained in his second season at Phoenix without competitive game and got to the end of the season a new contract.
Draper played in the first episode for the Melbourne Knights in the Victorian Premier League and the 2009/10 season for Team Wellington in the New Zealand Football Championship. In summer 2010, he moved to England in the Conference South to Basingstoke Town and scored there in the season 2010/11, 15 goals. This led to interest by the Welsh professional club The New Saints FC, whose offer he accepted in June 2011 and in the Welsh Premier League changed. For The New Saints in his first season he scored 22 league goals as the club next to the championship also succeeded in winning the cup, where he also contributed a goal in the 2-0 final victory against Cefn Druids.
Draper went through all youth teams in New Zealand. With the U -20 he took 17 -year-old participated in the Junior World Championships 2007 in Canada and came at Vorrundenaus in all three games available for use. In 2008 he was at the U-23 squad for the Olympic football tournament in China and came to two sub- missions. On 19 November 2008, he was in the World Cup qualifier against Fiji his debut in the senior national team of New Zealand. In March 2012 he participated with the New Zealand U -23 in the qualifying tournament for the 2012 Olympics, scoring three goals in the tournament, including the 1-0 winning goal in the final against Fiji.
