Grünerløkka

Grunerløkka is a central district of the Norwegian capital Oslo. He has 42 129 inhabitants (2008 ) and an area of 4.8 km ². The district consists of Grunerløkka, Sofienberg, Rodeløkka, Dælenenga, Carl Berner, parts of Tøyen, Hasle, Keyserløkka, Sinsen, Rose Hoff and Løren.

A point of interest is Ankerbrua, a bridge over the Akerselva. Grunerløkka is sometimes referred to as the trendy district. Furthermore here is on Storgata 36, the Grade II listed building plant Prinds Christian Augusts Minde with the oldest part of the building, the Mangelsgården, which is under protection since 1927.
