Guatemala national futsal team

The Guatemalan National Futsal is a representative selection of Guatemalan futsal players. The team represents the Guatemalan Football Federation at international meetings. The team won the 2008 CONCACAF Futsal Championship for the first time and two-time part in the Futsal World Cup.

Performance in tournaments

Guatemala took over as host of the World Cup 2000 for the first time at a World Cup finals and failed there with three points in the first round. Here they lost their last group match between Brazil with 2:29.

As early as 1996 it was the venue of the first CONCACAF Championship and finished fourth. In the following two continental championships you did not participate, in 2008 it was again hosted and won the tournament on penalties against Cuba and also qualified with this success for the World Cup in Brazil in 2008.
