Gulpen-Wittem

Mechelen -Wittem ( listen? / I ) is a municipality in the Dutch province of Limburg. It lies at the confluence of the two springing in neighboring Belgium waters Göhl (Dutch: Geul ) and Gulp. The main road N 278 from Aachen to Maastricht passes through the town center.

The municipality was created on 1 January 1999 by the merger of the municipalities Mechelen and Wittem. It consists of the villages of Eys, epics, Mechelen, Mechelen, Nijswiller, Partij -Wittem, Reijmerstok, Slenaken, Wahlwiller and Wijlre.

Tourism
