Guy II of Ponthieu

Guido II († 1147 in Ephesus ) was a Count of Ponthieu out of the house Montgomery. He was a son of Count Wilhelm Talvas of Ponthieu Alençon and his wife Hélie of Burgundy.

Guido received before the year 1129 by his father, the county of Ponthieu. To 1137, he founded the Cistercian Abbey of Valloires. He joined the Second Crusade in 1146 under King Louis VII on which he died in Ephesus at December 25, 1147 after an illness.

His wife was named Ida, with whom he had three children:
