Geography

Geographical Location

Hair Bach is located in the Donau -Wald 28 km west of Passau, 18 km north of Rotthalmuenster, 20 km east of parish churches and 17 km south of Vilshofen on the Danube. This is the church on the edge of the Bavarian Tuscany ( lower red valley ), in the middle of the monastery angle and timber land in the typical Lower Bavarian hills.

History

Hair Bach was first mentioned in 820, in a charter of the monastery of Mondsee in Upper Austria.

Alban of Closen inherited in 1508 from his father Georg von Fraunberg Hofmark Haide castle belonged to the hair stream at this time. The Hofmark hair Bach was acquired by the Collegiate of St. Wolfgang in 1737 or 1738. The village was part of the Electorate of Bavaria, but formed a closed Hofmark in the district of Erding nearby and 1803, dissolved by the secularization Foundation of St. Wolfgang. 1818 was the present political community.

Incorporations

On 1 February 1970, the formerly independent communities Sachsenham and Uttlau were incorporated.

The council has been working for the municipal election on 2 March 2008 as follows:

  • WG Rainding: 4 seats ( 32.2 % of the vote )
  • Independent WG hair Bach: 4 seats ( 28.0% of the vote)
  • WG Wolfakirchen: 3 seats (20.1% of the vote)
  • WG Uttlau: 3 seats ( 19.7% of the vote)

Mayor

First Mayor Fritz Pflugbeil (CSU ), who was elected in 2008 with 92.51 % of the valid votes unopposed.

His deputies are Peter Aderbauer and Walter Urlbauer.

Finances

The municipal tax revenues were converted to T € 781 in 1999, which amounted to the trade tax revenues ( net) converted 59 T €.

Culture and sights

  • Every year on a Sunday in late October Grongörgen a great Leonhardiritt instead.
  • In the municipality of hair Bach there is a carnival club which in the municipality Rainding is established.
