Over the years he came in consistently introduced 4-4 2 system of the coach, despite its small size, at all defensive positions used and matured to a service provider.

Under Brogeland which, almost exclusively relied on talent because of financial inferiority of the small KIL, managed in a row, a team of unknown players, including with Christer Basma, Vidar Riseth and Geir Frigård three subsequent national team, the breakthrough and were resold at a profit. This led to annual rebuilding the team, which was therefore mostly to find but the vice- champion title in 1992, in the middle of the league.

In 1996, Brogeland left the club towards Lillestrøm SK, after which the system training club Kongsvinger stalled shortly. As of 1996, Tran was the last remaining "jewel" in the club and due to constant strong performance a kind of guarantee for the league.
