Halla Margrét Árnadóttir

Halla Margrét Árnadóttir ( born April 23, 1964 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic singer in the vocal range soprano.

As the winner of Iceland's preliminary decision, she was allowed to represent their country at the Concours Euro Vision Song Contest 1987 in Brussels. With the ballad Hægt above hljótt ( "slow and quiet" ) she went to 16th place

After a classical vocal studies in Italy, she was a member of the Compagnia di Corrado Operetta Company Abbadi. She was soon to experience it in operas and operettas such as La Bohème, Tosca, Turandot, Le Villi or Die Fledermaus mainly in Italy.
