Hambuch

Hambuch is a municipality in the district Cochem-Zell, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Emperor Esch.

Geography

To Hambuch includes the residential places Hambuchermühle and Suhrhof.

History

The place is mentioned as haganbahc first time in the year 866. The state government was in the middle age, half in the Electorate of Trier, half in the Electorate of Cologne and the Count von der Leyen. From 1794, the city was under French rule, 1815, he was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia at the Congress of Vienna. Since 1946 he is part of Rhineland- Palatinate then newly founded.
