Hans Jacob Hansteen

Hans Jacob Hansteen (* April 11, 1938 in Stavanger ) is a Norwegian architect and conservationist.

Hansteen 1961 graduated from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in Trondheim and taught there as a professor 1977-95. 1993-2003 he worked as a conservationist in Oslo. Hansteen also deployed a wide-spanned work as a writer and has worked in a variety of public institutions and councils. His Restaaurierungs and reconstruction works were known in the old Bryggen Bergen.
