Hansjörg Lunger

Hansjörg Lunger ( born September 4, 1964 in Karneid ) is an Italian ski mountaineer.

Lunger began in 1985 with the ski mountaineering and denied in 2003 his first competition in that sport. Since 2006 he is part of the Italian national team. He scored in the Sella Ronda and the Transclautana first place and to transfuse Cavallo second place. Lunger is landlord of the " protection house Latzfonser Cross" in the Sarntaler Alps. His daughter Tamara is also successful ski mountaineer.

  • 2006: 1st place men's relay at the World Championships ( with Empire Egger, Brunod and Giacomelli )
  • 2nd place Fitschi Dachstein Xtreme
  • 5th place in the World Cup Championship team race with Giacomelli
