Hatín

Hatín ( German Hatzken ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south-west of Hradec Jindřichův and belongs to Okres Jindřichův Hradec.

Geography

Hatín is located in a pond landscape in the western foothills of the highlands Javořická at the transition into the Trebon Basin. East of the village of Velky pond is rybnik.

Neighboring towns are Stajka and Rosec in the north, padding in the east, in the southeast Vydří, Plavsko in the south and Šimanov and Jemčina in the southwest.

History

Belonging to the reign of Hradec village Hatín was first documented in the year 1389th

Among the Slavata of Chlum and Košumberk took place in 1673 at the rear courtyard at the Nežárka the establishment of a stud farm with riding stables, and blacksmith. The stately brewery was located there. After the extinction of the Czernin Slavata inherited the rule. Prokop Vojtěch Count Czernin was in 1702 to create a zoo. In the mid-18th century the Count had built a baroque hunting lodge by Anselmo Lurag for his hunting parties and as a summer residence in Gestütthof.

In 1960, the incorporation of Stajka.

1990 granted the Czechoslovak missile forces the lock Jemčina that served the military since 1950. After the sale was from 2002 a reorganization of the object.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Hatín Hatín ( Hatzken ) Jemčina ( Gestütthof ) and Stajka ( Stutten ).

Attractions

  • Castle Jemčina in Jemčina, the Baroque building on the right side of the Nežárka was built in the mid-18th century by Anselmo Lurag for Prokop Vojtěch Count Czernin.
  • Statues of St. Thecla and St. Sebastian, built in 1750 on the road to Jindřichův Hradec
