The HK Lipetsk (Russian ХК Липецк ) is an ice hockey club established in 1979 the Russian city of Lipetsk. The team plays in the second-rate Wysschaja Hockey League.

History

The club was founded in 1979 as Metallurg Lipetsk. By 1995, the team played in the Soviet unterklassigen leagues. In the 1995/96 season promotion to the second-class Wysschaja league in which the team won the 1998 league title and thus ascended into the Super League. In the Super League, the club spent two seasons.

Since 2000 of Lipetsk HK played back in the Wysschaja league. In 2006 the club moved back to the Perwaja league. In 2008 he was readmitted to the Wysschaja league. In the summer of 2010, this division was reformed and the HK Lipetsk initially received a license for the new Wysschaja Hockey League, could not represent the funding for the 2010/11 season and had the third league, the league Perwaja dismount. 2013, the club but was reinstated in the Wysschaja Hockey League.
