Heiko Maile

Heiko Maile Michael ( born January 12, 1966 in Bankstown, District of Sydney, Australia ) is a German film composer, record producer and musician.

Life

In 1983, Heiko Maile and his friends Marcus Meyn, Oliver Kreyssig and Martin Kähling the German band Camouflage. One of the greatest successes of the band include songs like "The Great Commandment ," "Love Is A Shield ", " Suspicious Love " and " Me And You". On top of his many years of work as a composer for commercials and movies. He also wrote the soundtrack for the film The shaft, in which Dennis Gansel directed and produced by Christian Becker. On the accompanying soundtrack are found not many compositions by Heiko Maile also three songs that he has contributed by his pen name Ronda Ray. For his compositions in the animated film Love & Theft by Andreas Hykade he received in 2010 at the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film Music for Animation Award. In 2011 he was for another collaboration with Gansel We will check the night (2010) have been nominated for the German Film Award for Best Film Music.

Heiko Maile lives and works in Stuttgart.
