Hell Teacher Nūbē

Jigoku Sensei Nube (Japanese地獄 先生 ぬ~ ~べ, dt " Hell Teacher Nube ", also known under the informal English title Hell Teacher Nube ) is the title of a manga series by the cooperation of the author Shō Makura with the draftsman Takeshi Okano emerged and was published in Weekly Shōnen Jump of Shueisha publishing.

The shōnen series is attributable to the genre action, comedy, horror and romance and launched in September 1993 with issue # 38 of the weekly magazine and was completed in March 1999 with the publication of the Week 24 edition of the magazine and have been summarized in 31 anthologies. With a full 49 episodes anime series and produced by Toei Animation, the manga saw the index the focusing screen; after the broadcast on the television Animax and TV Asahi in 1996 and '97 followed by shipments, among others in Mexico.

This TV series was followed by a total of three feature films and three OVA episodes.

Content

Core of the plot - in Manga and Anime - are the experiences of Meisuke Nueno (鵺 野 鸣 介, Nueno Meisuke ) also briefly called " Nube ", in his teacher at the Domori Primary School (童 守 小学校, Domori shōgakkō ) which is a double life as an exorcist leads and as such does its utmost to protect 5-3 especially his students to the class Yōkai and other supernatural beings.

During his numerous battles him his left hand is a useful tool, in which a force was sealed, which he received after a fight with an Oni. In order not to attract attention in everyday life it covers the disfigured hand with a glove that subdues the forces.

Manga

In addition to the chapter have published the manga series, these were combined with the publication of the first volume on 11 January 1994 at regular intervals of about three months in anthologies and republished. TV Series

Based on the manga a television series directed by Yukio Kaizawa was produced by Toei Animation and aired after the Japanese television Animax and TV Asahi in the years 1996 to 1997. Responsible for the series were the producers June Kaji, Nobutaka Nishizawa, Taro Iwamoto and Tetsuya Watanabe. Based on the pictures in the manga Yōichi Onishi developed under the artistic direction by Sakamoto Nobuto the appearance of the characters for the TV series.

The film music was composed by BMF, which later also the soundtrack of the original versions of the first Yu -Gi -Oh! Television series and Monster Rancher created.

Musically, the episodes were completed by the opening credits with the title Bari Bari Saikyo no. 1 (バリバリ 最強NO.1 ) by FEEL SO BAD and the two credits titles Mienai Chikara - Invisible One (ミエナイ チカラ~ INVISIBLE ONE ~ ) B'z and SPIRIT of PAMELAH.

Produced and aired the television series from April 1996 to June 1997.

Abroad, the series was broadcast in Mexico from 29 July to 2 October 2002.

OVA

Under Yukio Kaizawa Toei Animation produced three OVA episodes which were first published in parallel with the TV series on VHS:

The first episode was released on 12 June 1998, the second about a month later on 10 July. The third and final episode was first published on 14 May 1999.

Republication

The television series was published for the 10th anniversary of the first showing in 2006 with all 49 episodes on two DVD box sets, in the movies and OVA episodes are also included. The first box contains the first 24 episodes of the series with the three movies, while the second the remaining Anime productions offers.

Synchronization

Video Games

In 1997 a game was released to the anime for the Sony Playstation. In the game Jump Ultimate Stars published in 2006 for the Nintendo DS, the figures Nube and Yukime are included as supporting characters.

Reception

The end of the series followed the offshoot Reibaishi Izuna, which will be published in the magazine Ō Super Jump since 2007, one published by Shueisha publishing special issue of his magazine Super Jump, which is also devised jointly by Shō Makura and Takeshi Okano and his second anthology was performed in the Japanese manga sales charts in the week of 6 to 12 January 2009, 29,490 copies sold on position 19.
