Henna Johansson

Henna Katerina Johansson (born 1 May 1991) is a Swedish wrestler. It was 2012 European Champion in free style in the weight class up to 67 kg body weight.

Career

Henna Johansson grew up in Gällivare and began as a child in gymnastics. Already in 1996 she came to the ring and starts since before the Gällivare SK ( Sportklubb ). My first coach was Hakan Johansson. Since 2010, she is coached by Fariborz Besarati.

They played their first international competitions already as a junior. In 2006 she was Nordic junior champion in the weight class up to 52 kg, but had to be at the Junior European Championship ( Cadets ) in Istanbul settle in the same weight class with the 10th Place. Just one year later, in 2007, but it was in this weight class Junior European Champion already ( Cadets ) in Warsaw. In 2008, she repeated this success in Daugavpils, but in the weight class up to 60 kg. At the Junior World Championships this year in Istanbul, she took in the weight class up to 63 kg to the 3rd place.

2009 started henna Johansson in Vilnius for the first time at a European Women and finished there in the weight class up to 63 kg behind Monika Ewa Michalik of Poland and Aliona Kartaschowa from Russia, together with the German Stefanie Stüber the 3rd place. In August of 2009 she was in Ankara for the first time Junior World Champion.

At the European Championships 2010 in Baku they suffered a little setback because they lost there in the weight class up to 63 kg after a win over Monika Szerencse against Hanna Belyaeva from Belarus, thus retired and only came on the 8th Place. At the World Championships 2010 in Moscow Hena Johansson defeated Although in the first round against the multiple world champion Kaori Icho of Japan, but fought his way then with victories over Chen Meng, China and Marianna Sastin from Hungary still a bronze medal.

The International Championships of 2011 brought disappointment for Henna Johansson. At the European Championships in Dortmund she retired after losing to Laura Skujine from Latvia after the first round and finished in 17th place and at the World Championships in Istanbul, she lost after two wins against Elena Piroschkowa from the United States and landed on the 16th Place.

At the European Championships 2012 in Belgrade, she started for the first time in the weight class up to 67 kg and won there with wins over Kristine Orbowa, Latvia, Ilana Kratisch, Israel, Dschasan Filipowa Manolowa, Bulgaria and Alla Cherkasova from Ukraine to the European Championship title.

It is believed that henna Johansson intends at the Olympic Games in London, to go back in the weight category up to 63 kg at the start, because the weight is not on the Olympic program to 67 kg.

She was actually in London at the start and won the first fight on inihrem Aisuluu Tinibekow from Kyrgyzstan. But then she met the multiple world champion Kaori Icho of Japan, against which they lost. Since these reached the final, she was able to wrestle in the consolation round, where they lost against the former world champion Martine Dugrenier from Canada and came so only on the 10th Place. In 2012 she was then, in the weight class up to 67 kg, even at the World Championships in Canada Strathcona County at the start. She lost there but like their first fight against Nadezhda Semenzowa from Azerbaijan and therefore only came to 14th place.
