Henning von Boehmer
( Justus ) Henning von Boehmer ( born August 16, 1943 in Wriezen ) is a business lawyer, author and journalist based in Dusseldorf.
Career
Henning von Boehmer was a student in the humanistic Gymnasium Koblenz Gorres and humanist boarding Birklehof in Hinterzarten / Schwarzwald. He studied law in Kiel, Geneva, Bonn, Lyon, Toulouse and New York, received his doctorate from the University of Bonn on French law and graduated from New York University (NYU ) with a Master of Laws ( LL.M.).
From Boehmer in Dusseldorf was admitted as an attorney and lawyer specializing in tax law and general counsel of a British construction company, then Head of the Legal Department, Human Resources and controlling a German construction. After that, he was managing director of the Economic Council of the CDU eV recently, he was for 13 years secretary general of the International Chamber of Commerce ( ICC) in Germany. He is currently a Senior Consultant with an international law firm and as a financial journalist (DJV ) in Dusseldorf active. He is co-founder of the German -American Lawyers' Association, co-founder and member of the Jerusalem Foundation eV German section, and member of the German -Prussian Kreis eV Dusseldorf, in Dusseldorf Industry Club and was on the advisory board of the Centre for Protection against unfair competition.

Origin
From Boehmer is from the Prussian family of lawyers Bohemian / von Boehmer, whose origins date back to the time around 1600. Among his ancestors are a thing Justus Henning Boehmer (1674-1749), director of the University of Halle and probably the most important canon of 17-18. Maternal great-grandfather Bodo Borries of Ditfurth (1852-1915) under Sultan Abdulhamid II was a Ottoman general and adjutant in Constantinople Opel. Through his great-grandmother 's paternal Mary Barbara Rennie Henning von Boehmer comes in 12th generation of the Pilgrim Governor William Bradford from ( 1590-1657 ), who in 1620 emigrated along with other " Pilgrim Fathers " on the Mayflower to Plymouth (Massachusetts ). As a Mayflower descendant of Boehmer member of the prestigious " General Society of Mayflower Descendants" in the United States.
