Henri Emmanuelli
Henri Emmanuelli ( born May 31, 1945 in Eaux- Bonnes, Pyrenees -Atlantiques ) is a French politician.
Life
In 1971 he joined the Parti Socialiste, after he was involved in the commission for the reform of the institutions of the Republic ( Convention of Institutions Républicaines ). The party politics, he found himself in the Aquitaine region. In 1973 he was first set up with 27 years for the parliamentary elections as a candidate. When he was defeated in the election district of Lot- et- Garonne, he moved to the Landes department, where the later French President François Mitterrand had a country house.
He worked during this period in the Rothschild Bank in Paris until the age of 32 he moved as a department deputy in the National Assembly in 1978. 1981 to 1986 he was State Secretary in the governments of Pierre Mauroy and Laurent Fabius. After his first election, he was more than 13 years and a member of parliament from 1992 to 1993 its president. He was also Chairman of the Regional Council of the Landes region, for the first time in 1982. Between 1994 and 1995 he took charge of the post of Secretary of the Socialist Party. Henri Emmanuelli maintains a friendly relationship with the President of Ivory Coast, Laurent Gbagbo, and the president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez.
