Henry Crocheron

Henry Crocheron (* December 26, 1772 on Staten Iceland, New York, † November 8, 1819 in New Springville, New York ) was an American politician and military officer. Between 1815 and 1817 he represented the State of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

About Henry Crocheron are not much information on supplies. He attended community schools and then went commercial shops in Northfield. Between 1808 and 1814, he worked as a supervisor of Northfield. Politically, he was a member of the founded by Thomas Jefferson Democratic- Republican Party. In the congressional elections of 1814 Crocheron was the first electoral district of New York in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Ebenezer Sage on March 4, 1815. Since he resigned in 1816 to run again, he retired after the March 3, 1817 out of the Congress. The following year he served as captain in the militia of New York. He died on November 8, 1819 in New Springville and was then buried in the St. Andrew 's Church cemetery. His brother was the congresswoman Jacob Crocheron.
